Registered Safety Officer®
Win OSHE Services has been accredited by the International Board of Environmental Health & Safety to hold certification programs for safety officers in Myanmar who are interested in becoming Registered Safety Officers®.
The Registered Safety Officer® is knowledgeable in the fundamentals of occupational health and safety, and is generally responsible for the day-to-day activities of managing a company's health and safety program.

How you are assessed

Academic
One hundred multiple choice questions with a time limit of one and a half hours. The passing score must be at least 78%.

Practical, case study
You will be given a fatality case. You must identify the causative factors for the accident and provide a control measure to prevent the accident recurring.

Practical, hazard spotting
You will be given three photographs. You must identify the hazards and provide a control measure for each hazard you identify.
Certification and retention
- Registered Safety Officer course certificate, and the right to use the designation RSO after your name
- Retention requires a 50 USD annual maintenance fee, plus 16 hours of continuing education or equivalent every two years. Continuing education can be obtained by attending any type of safety program or by teaching safety classes.
